ClassGraphic Organization of sentences into clear paragraphs with correct punctuation. Students will begin writing on topics read from texts. Students will work on supporting and developing a topic sentence with evidence, examples, and/or details. Assignments will require perr editing and drafts to final papers. Introduction to a variety of parts of speech and simple complez sentences in expressing ideas in written and spoken English. Students will be able to recognize correct structuring of simple sentences using all tenses and high frequency irregular verbs. Know the correct uses of capitalization and punctuation.
