ClassGraphic Intensive in-out-of-class listening and speaking practice. Students will focus on understanding and using conversational English. Students will learn how to order food at a restaurant, make a doctor's appointment, and interact with salespeople. Students will also work on listening skills such as listening for details, listening to understand a speaker;s attitude, and basic relationship between facts, people, and ideas. Understanding and production of consonant and vowel sounds, as well as rhythm, stress, and intonation will be covered. Students work on accurate pronunciation at the sound-, word-, and phrase- levels. Prominent accent reduction will be addressed.
