ClassGraphic Have you always wanted to learn how to paint pet or animal portraits? If you are an animal lover and want to learn how to paint a portrait of your pet – with personality – this is the course for you! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned painter, you’ll find plenty of content to take your work to the next level! In this fun art class, you will learn how to plan your painting, model your subject, and paint with value, color temperature, edges, and so much more. Expert artist Cynthia Golden-Frasier will show you how to put it all together in a painting full of personality. Materials required.

Notice

Please read:  Required materials: Heavy body acrylic paints (Preferred brands: Liquitex Heavy Body, Golden Paints, Winsor Newton or Galleria), Preferred Acrylic Colors: Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow, Ultramarine Blue, Raw or Burnt Umber, Yellow Ochre or Yellow Oxide, Burnt Sienna, Titanium White, close up photo or 2 identical 8.5 x 11 inch printed photos of your pet on regular copy paper with defined edges. Optional: Bring an iPad tablet, tablet or laptop for a digital reference photo, apron, paper towels or a hand towel to clean brushes, 2 – 8×10 stretched canvas, water container, pre-packaged, quality brush set, and painting knives for mixing paint.
