By combining art and technology, graphic designers create visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire, inform and captivate consumers. The Graphic Design Certificate provides students with a solid foundation for entry in the graphic design industry. Working with Adobe software, you'll learn design and publishing fundamentals for producing print and online media. Upon completion of the certificate classwork, students will have compiled samples into a professional portfolio. Classes are hosted in our state of the art PC lab or students may choose to bring their own laptop. Foundations of Graphic Design is required as the first course in this certificate. Required courses include: Foundations of Graphic Design, Adobe Illustrator for the Graphic Artist, Adobe Photoshop for the Graphic Artist, Adobe InDesign for the Graphic Artist, Publishing for Print and Web, Adobe Acrobat and The Branding Process.
