Meet the Teachers

Paige Burns



Paige has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication from the University of Georgia and a Master of Arts in Teaching (Reading, Language, Literacy, ESOL) degree from Georgia State University. She has been teaching English Learners from a variety of backgrounds in community and academic settings since 2012. Paige’s passion is helping students achieve their goals, whether it’s studying at a university, passing an exam, or using English for life purposes. In addition to teaching, she enjoys reading, solving puzzles, and spending time with her husband and three sons.

Cynthia Hunt



Cindy Hunt is a veteran educator with 35 years of experience with students, adults, and professionals from PreK-12 to adult learners. Since 2004, Cindy’s primary experience has focused on teaching English learners in secondary chemistry and physics classes, newcomer English learners, master’s degree candidates in ESL, and adult English learners. She has extensive experience as an ESL consultant and trainer, as well as an invited presenter at local, state, national, and international conferences. Cindy holds a B.S.Ed in Comprehensive Secondary Science Education (‘85, Athens State University), a M.S.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction (‘90, Auburn University), an additional Master’s in English as a Second Language (‘06, University of Alabama at Birmingham), and an Ed.S in Physics Education (‘11, University of Alabama at Birmingham). Cindy’s passion is helping students and professional educators define and navigate clear paths to personal achievement in education, collegiate studies, and career paths.
