This is a transitional class geared to more serious levels of technical training gained in Level 3. Students will explore a large variety of classical ballet terminology, enabling them to adapt to all styles and techniques of dance. In this class, vocabulary of the barre and center, the foundation or the 5 modes of jumping, as well as the leg alignment for pointe work is begun. Students at this level should aim to take a minimum of 3 technique classes per week. All dancers will work towards building flexibility, strength, musicality, coordination, concentration and communication of expression through movement.
